What clients are
saying
"Joni's counseling style pisses me off - it helps me realize things about myself I've been neglecting to address, which helps me become a better person. She's absolutely great!"
FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS
When I was younger, I struggled deeply with emotion. I felt so alone. My life changed in wonderful ways as I connected with people who were willing to come alongside me, to journey with me and invest in me as I learned to navigate this adventure called life.
Simultaneously, I discovered hurting people gravitated to me and I had a gift for helping them to feel they were not alone. Personal pain coincided with passion, and I embarked on my journey to becoming a therapist. If I can keep one person from having to struggle alone by walking along with them, then I have served my purpose.

I believe strongly that the phrase "For such a time as this" was meant for my life. Everywhere I go and everything I do, I seem uniquely prepared for the experience. I believe everyone who walks into my office does so for a reason, even if it's just for one session. I'm glad you're here.
This is OUR journey - thank you for allowing me to share it with you.
